On the morning of September 27, 2012, Yin Li, Commissioner of the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA), met with the visiting delegation led by Ms. Elena Telnova, acting head of the Federal Service on Surveillance in Healthcare and Social Development of Russian Federation (Roszdravnadzor). Both sides reviewed the previous cooperation, and reached a consensus on further enhancing cooperation in the exchange of regulatory information which include information on active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and in the field of rapid drug testing technologies. In addition, the two sides renewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on bilateral cooperation. Main directors of SFDA’s Department of International Cooperation, Department of Drug Registration, Department of Medical Device Supervision, Bureau of Investigation & Enforcement attended the meeting and the MOU renewal ceremony.
